Computer-controlled Perfusion System

computer controlled perfusion system

In the DIV-BBB model, the Flocel Quad Pump mimics the pulsatile action of the heart. The Quad Pump contains four small, easily configurable, pulsatile pumps that enable continuous flow through the DIV-BBB model. Each pump is individually controlled, allowing the performance of up to four independent experiments.

Features:

  • The flow and pump rates for the four cartridges are controlled independently.
  • External 24 VDC wall plug-in power supply
  • The system receives program commands from its software

Specifications for each of the four Linear Actuators

  • Pump rate: 0–100 bpm
  • Flow rate: 0.1–50 ml/min depending on specifications by the customer
  • External +24 vdc Supply
  • Power consumption: 7.5 W
  • Weight: 5.8 oz

Benefits:

  • The system enables four independent experiments.
  • It minimizes the heat inside the incubator
